2009 CMB Sweetheart Weekend

What: Marriage enrichment weekend getaway.

When: February 13th and 14th

Where: New Harmony Inn

How Long: Fri. 6:00pm-9:00pm and Sat. 9:00am-6:00pm

How Much: $75 per couple (includes workshop costs and meals: Fri. night, Sat. lunch and the Celebration Dinner)

Accommodations: All reservations must be made with the New Harmony Inn

Special Room Rates for New Harmony Inn

One Night Stay - $114 (plus tax) Two Night Stay - $171 (plus tax)

Rooms with a fireplace are available for an additional charge. Special package rate only offered until Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. Each couple is responsible for making their own reservations and guaranteeing them. FULL PAYMENT of the room rate will be required at the time of the reservations. The room rate is refundable up to 48hrs with a $50 cancellation fee. Any cancellations after 48hrs. will be non-refundable. What to expect

Join us for an exciting marriage enrichment getaway weekend in beautiful New Harmony, Indiana.! This special event will be held Valentines' Weekend on Friday evening, Feb. 13 and all day Saturday, Feb. 14. Bring your spouse to learn some new tools to improve communication and deepen intimacy. Register early because space is limited. Your name will also be put in a drawing for some fabulous door prizes like a $500.00 shopping spree to Tracy Zeller Jewelry.

This Sweetheart Weekend is designed for couples that value their marriage and want to make it the best it can be, couples that need to make their marriage a priority again, couples that need some help during a difficult time, and couples that are at their wits end.

The weekend concludes with a special celebration dinner at the Bayou Grill. You will be treated to a fabulous dinner and great entertainment. During your meal enjoy the romantic sounds of Steve Stewart of Christian Fellowship Church. Following you meal you will be entertained by melody's of Greg Graham Music Ministries. This portion of the weekend is not funded by the Federal Grant.

We will have three different program tracks:

1. Love for Life (PAIRS)

This program will help you fill up your marriage skills "tool box." We'll guide you through a series of activities for better communication, deeper intimacy, and stronger conflict resolution skills. 2. Married and Loving It! (PAIRS Love for Life or Make it Last a prerequisite)

This program is a great follow-up to our pre married "Make It Last" class or our "Love for Life" enrichment classes. We will build on what you have already learned and expand your skills to include topics such and finances and in-laws. One of our PAIRS courses is a prerequisite for this program. 3. Mastering the Mysteries of Love (PAIRS Love for Life or Make it Last a prerequisite)

MML uses ordinary words and step-by-step directions to learn 10 new relationship skills. This workshop includes group discussions, audio-visuals (DVD or role play), and practice activities that keep both reluctant and highly motivated learners engaged.
